This morning I rode three consecutive round trips to Marsh Park, leaving a little later than I had wanted to—7:45, after first spending a little time firming up the rack that Michelle and I installed yesterday. Because of its placement, yesterday I could not tighten up the nut on the bolt that fastens the rack to the trailer hitch, so it remained a bit wobbly, but a quick trip to Meijer for a socket wrench took care of that obstacle.
Once I finally did get to shove off, it was 62° and extremely enjoyable weather for riding; by the time I had finished (26 miles in 3:06) it had climbed to 79°, and despite the high humidity, was not unbearable.
We also recharged my deplenished airhorn yesterday, so I ready to blast a warning as need today, though this was never necessary.
