TOTAL MILEAGE FOR 2016 - 1978.7
This morning, for the second straight day, I rode three consecutive round trips to Marsh Park, covering the 26 miles in a slower than yesterday—3:03 vs. 2:52. If I can do it tomorrow, as I hope to, that will put me over a big mileage threshhold for the year.
When I left this morning, at 6:30, it was 64°, and by the end, it had climbed to 74°. And I was rewarded by my steadfastness in doing that third round trip by seeing my friend, Leighann, at the park, when she waved and called out from her vehicle. I was glad that she identified herself, because although I think I might have recognized her voice, my distance vision is sufficiently weak that I would not have known it was her by sight.
