42nd ride of 2016 - Monday, 3/28/2016

This does not, in my mind, quite rise to the level of "adventure," but it is surely a sore test of my patience and perseverance. A couple of days ago, something went awry with Blogger, the Google software that I use to keep my triking blog. My blog disappeared from my 'dashboard,' so that I could no longer write to it, although, thankfully, I can at least read what I have already written by entering the URL into my browser.
So, I'm recreating a new blog by painstakingly and slowly copying and pasting each of the 234 entries into a new template. This is clearly not an urgent project, but it an important one for me, that I might have this reference available.
Anyway, between my eagerness to get back to this transfer, and my distaste for today's conditions (cold -- 40° -- and gray, with wind ... a day the weather reporters have been repeatedly calling "raw" here in southeast Michigan), I allowed myself to settle for a single round trip to Marsh Park (blessedly free of any mechanical incidents), completing the 10 miles in 1 hour and 7 minutes.
