This morning I rode once more in sparkling conditions—calm 73° sunshine. I could no6, however, do as long a ride as I would liked, since I have a noon funeral to attend. (This is for the father-in-law of Brent, one of my best friends from Addison. And Brent is a pastor, so he will be conducting the funeral.) Because of this, I am planning to ride two more this afternoon in order to push me over the 1500-mile plateau for the year. This morning, I rode the 18 miles in 1:52.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON
I was rushed, after the noon funeral I attended, but was able to squeeze in a ride to Marsh Park, and then my loop down around Saline High School; the 12.6 miles (in 1:22) took me just over 1500 miles for the year. The weather remains perfect—sunny and 82°.
